21, 2001: Hell-o
Ghoulscouts!!! Come on in to the lab, and lets see what's on the
slab!!! "Songs From The Recently Deceased" was
just released in Europe on "People Like You" records
and was named independent album of the month in the upcoming
issue of Metal Hammer Magazine. As well as a sampler CD
contained with the issue which features "I Love To Say
Fuck," the uncensored version. Also pick up the new issue
of Carbon 14 Magazine. It has a complete interview with
"yours truly" and some horribly gruesome pics sure to
make your eyes pop out of your skull. We have already began
tracking for the upcoming album "Legend Of The 13 Ghoul-den
Graverobbers" featuring the Queens tackling 13 songs by our
favorite and most influential artists. We are scheduling this
project for a late March/April release to celebrate the 5 year
anniversary of the band. Expect to hear our disturbing versions
of songs by Alice Cooper, The Stooges, Sweet, The Cramps, Hanoi
Rocks, and AC/DC to name a few. Also keep your eyes for two new 7" singles "Dawn Of the Dead" and
"Love At First Fright" coming in March for the 5 year
anniversary as well. The anniversary show is in the works as
well as a European tour. In between all of this we will be
writing and recording tracks for the all new full length release
scheduled for a spring/summer release on "Steel Cage
Records." That's it for now Ghoulscouts...... Stay Dead!!!
You know we will.
December
31, 2000: Here
we are ghoulscouts, 2001. For 5 years now we have walked,
stalked, killed and thrilled the people of earth. We have seen
people, bands, clubs, trends, and friends come and go...but
we're still standing. What does the future hold for The
Frankenstein Drag Queens? Who knows? All I can tell you is, that
you will physically have to kill us, grind up our bones bury
them in the forest at the roots of and old dead tree and pray
that some dumb kids don't come along with an Ouija board and
resurrect us, that's the only way you will get rid of us, and that's
not for sure. We are older and wiser now and we see what we want
even more now. So step back, take a deep breath, and let the
destruction begin!!!! Expect a casket full of releases from us
in 2001 and a lot more live shows than in the past few years.
Stay tuned to frankensteindragqueens.com for all the blood,
guts, and gore on your favorite monster men in dresses...For
Those About To Rot...We Salute You!!!

section for details. We are currently discussing the
possibilities of being on a tribute record to the great glam
pioneers The Sweet. We will keep you posted. The European
magazine Sonic Seducer is featuring an article/interview on the
band in the January issue, as well as upcoming issues of Carbon
14 and Rockpile magazine here is the US.

November
25, 2000:
Hello Ghoulscouts and welcome to the all new and horrifying
frankensteindragqueens.com. We will be bringing you lots of new
features to the site, like a personal diary called "Diary
of a Monster," as well as more interviews, images,
contests, sounds, and any other dirt we can dig up. So many of
you are asking, "What's up the Queens"? Well allow me
to answer that. We have just recently recorded 2 new songs
called "Dawn Of The Dead," and "Anti-you,"
for a split 7" with a mad group called
The Nerds
to be
released through
Scarey Records
in Italy. "Dawn of The
Dead" turned out great. It was inspired obviously by the
greatest (in my opinion)
zombie flick
ever "Dawn Of The
Dead." The song has such a catchy sing-along chorus:
"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the
earth." It will be up soon to listen to, so keep checking
back. The other tune "Anti-You," is not even 2 minutes
long but is filled with pure teenage violent and transvestite rage,
even though we are not teenagers. We plan to hit the studio in
about 2 weeks again to record 2 more songs for a split single in
Italy with our pals "Nothing But
Puke." We aren't
exactly sure what songs will be recorded but it's possible that
it will be a new song called "Planet Of The Apes," and
a cover tune. Speaking of cover songs, we are working on
releasing a CD of 13 cover songs for the 5 year anniversary
coming this April. Tentative titles for it now
are..."Legend of the 13 Golden Graverobbers," and
"Monsters Of The Universe" (inspired by the he-man
masters of the universe series), write us and let us know what
you think of em. We threw out the idea of a live record and
wanted to do this instead. We also will be recording
Alice
Cooper's
"Levity Ball" for an upcoming Alice
Cooper compilation disc for release in early 2001, and a version
of
AC/DC's
"Shoot To Thrill" for a tribute compilation
called "Come Back In Black" to be released in Italy in
2001. In between all of that we will be writing and recording a
new record for Steel Cage Records in Philadelphia. The label was
going to re-release "Songs From"...but we decided to
just release a brand new record for the summer instead. I can't
tell you what this one will be like because I don't know
myself....but don't worry it wont be rap/rock. As far as any
touring plans, none are set now. "Songs from the Recently
Deceased" will be released in Europe through
People Like
You Records
in December and possibly a European tour to follow
in 2001. We will have a special guest/character playing live
with us for the next few shows- Dr. Icky Pigg is his name. He
made a special appearance with the band on Halloween playing
rhythm guitar and will be playing organ and other tools at the
upcoming shows; see tour dates for more info. Well, that's about
it for now Ghoulscouts......see ya in hell.
